Flea Controller

Publication:- Equine Canine and Country Life: April 2008

Now you can be your dogs’ best friend by protecting him from his worst enemy the common flea! And cats needn’t feel left out as this clever new device will work for them too!

The Flea Controller is a small weatherproof device which emits harmless ultrasonic pulses intolerable to ticks and fleas but is completely safe for humans and pets, including puppies and kittens as well as pregnant and lactating animals.

With no harmful chemicals or nasty ‘niffs’ that can upset pets and their owners, the convenient Flea Controller repels fleas and ticks from your pet and his bedding as well as helping prevent further infestation.

The unit is small and attaches discretely to your pets collar. Lasting up to 12 months, results are usually noticed within two weeks of commencing its use. And unlike other treatments, your pets’ passengers cannot build up a resistance to the device over time due to the wide range of ultrasonic pitches it uses.

Product rating 8/10

We recently lost one of our Border Terriers on the road after she dug out of the garden at night after a fox. She had always lived outside in the kennel with her full sister who also went with her on the late night hunting exhibition. But thankfully came home safely. ‘Sky’ thus became a house dog and I was a bit concerned that although having been treated regularly for fleas she did seem to be scratching rather a lot. I attached the Flea Controller to her collar and after about 10 days I definitely noticed a difference and she seemed much more comfortable. It is relatively cheap, and easy to use, and would definitely recommend giving it a go if you have a flea problem with your dog.
